Hardwick Elementary School is "piloting" a full day preschool program during the 2023-2024 school year. Students attend school for a full day 9am - 3pm and come from all of our district towns- Barre, Hardwick, Hubbardston, New Braintree and Oakham. School choice students are not accepted into our preschool programs.
Please send your child to school with a snack and water each day. Full day PK students have the opportunity to have school lunch. This is a wonderful way to get them to try new foods!
During the winter months, your children will need to bring snow gear to play outside during our recess times.
From time to time, we may ask students to bring in an item from home for Show and Tell types of activities or because we might be engaging in "messy" art projects, etc. However, we encourage students to leave their valuables and lovies home with you.
